Validation of the Purchase

The purchase of a piece should benefit the art collection, which is seen as a unique entity. When compared to the already existing artworks in the collection, whether it consists of two or more pieces, several questions must be asked:

   - **Does the new addition stand out so much that it disrupts the harmony of the collection?** If this happens, it can lead to chaos within the collection, causing even masterpieces to appear lifeless. Works that no longer have a common reference lose their meaning.

   - **Does the addition have no impact, influence, or connection with the rest of the collection?** This might happen if the collector does not understand their role as a creator of signs and meanings. The goal is to define the originality of the personal collection and create a selection of artworks that, despite their individual presence, contribute to the unity and harmony of the collection.

   - **Does the new addition help solidify or create a bridge connecting one group of artworks with another?** This clarity of attributes can bring to light a common thread running through the entire collection that was only suggested before.

   - **Does the new arrival reaffirm the fundamental elements for an art collection to be defined?** An art collection establishes greater unity among all its parts, contributing to the coherence of the collection as a whole.

   - **Is the picture deliberately chosen for its departure from the rest of the collection?** This could be for the sake of exploring new artistic territories. An eclectic art collector will recognize themselves in this third condition that validates the purchase of a new artwork.

Once purchased, the artwork can either go directly to storage momentarily or be delivered and installed. This may be done easily, but sometimes the artwork requires a larger and more complex set of services and logistics. I have the experience to manage this for myself and can extend this coordination service at any time to ensure the proper handling of any artwork that enters or exits your collection.
